Homestead applications may be filed from December 15 through March 1, or the next business day if March 1 falls on a weekend. The deadline is set by law, so late applications cannot be processed for that year.
The exclusion amount is set each year by your school district, so it is not listed here. Owners of commercial or mixed-use property who live there may still qualify and should list the residential share on the form.
